| Valerian Root and Caffeine together? | | Valarian Root is a natural (no side effects or drowsy the next day feelings) muscle relaxer. I take it so I can sleep a little better. I don't take it real often, but some. If I have an evening cup of coffee (which doesn't tend to keep me awake) won't take the valarian root. I'm thinking that taking the stimulus (caffeine) and then taking the relaxer (valarian root) can't be good for the heart. What do you think? Are they safe to take together or not?? | |
| | Do you take valerian root? | | I have been using valerian root for going on 5 or 6 years now. I started off getting it from walmart. Now I order organic ground valerian and pill it up myself. I take it for anxiety. Sometimes I take it for mild pain instead of ibuprofen or something. Do any of you take valerian? What are the symptoms you take it for? | | waking up in the middle of the night | | i am faced with a strange situation. for the past so many nights, i seem to wake up around 2.am daily for no reason at all. there isn't any sound or any other disturbance due to which i am awake. I simply find that my eyes open automatically around that time and i am totally helpless. the worst part is that i am not able to get back to sleep for an hour or so afterwards. i just keep tossing and turning till sleep takes over. this is proving to be a great strain and i am not able to wake up fresh.
i am so very upset due to this problem. what do i do to get back to my uninterrupted sleep days??? | |

| Is there a way to stop being a light sleeper? | | I am a rly light sleeper, everything seems to wake me up or disturbe me so even though i sleep fr 8 hours I get hardly any rest. I have thought about hypnotism but there is no way I could relax enough to let a person I dont know put me under.Any suggestions? | |

| never enough | | I just find it almost impossible to sleep more than 3 hours at a time. Usually at 2pm i will lay down with a book or the tv on and doze off during that time. Then I am wide awake for about 5 hours before I lay back down for another couple of hours. Oh how I wish i could just lay down and sleep straight through for even 6 hours. I have tried the PM meds and the different herbs available but it doesn't do much good. How do you get your needed rest? | |
